David was born in Lincoln, UK 1971. He studied photography and fine art photography in the late 80s and moved to Tokyo, Japan in the early 90s, where he worked as an advertising copywriter on global accounts with an emphasis on digital imaging. In 2007, David moved to Philadelphia and in 2008 he won a prestigious Black & White Spider Award in the Silhouette category and received an honorable mention in Architecture, with judges including Communication Arts magazine, The Tate Gallery in London, and Magnum Photographers. David has exhibited in galleries in the UK, has contributed photography for award-winning advertising campaigns, and has sold a considerable volume of work. He is open to both representation and commissions.
