We are three young adults who have each dealt with eating disorders and are now in recovery or fully recovered. We are constantly amazed at the lack of information people have about eating disorders and the misconceptions about them. As eating disorders are a mental illness, they are also considered "taboo", and not often discussed. Growing up in Canada, we were all very fortunate to have access to medical care and treatment at a very low cost to us financially. However, we know that in other parts of the world, treatment can be unaffordable, causing people to suffer from eating disorders much longer than necessary, or to succumb to them completely. As a result, we thought we would try to start designing t-shirts and other items to generate funds that can be donated to those in need of treatment. The designs are also intended to generate questions and conversation. Please consider purchasing one of our products and help those who need treatment receive the funds to make that possible.
