It is about the trouble women had getting the vote and their rights. It seems something in the past but then you realize what trouble they went to. It was finally put into law with the 19th Amendment to let them vote in 1920 in the US. President Woodrow Wilson was not in favor of it at first. It is for rights at work and very fundamental rights in marriage and elsewhere.
